1. How do I insert photos into my listings?
-to insert photos into your listing, you will need to first upload your photo to a site such as Photobucket.com. Once at Photobucket.com, upload the picture(s) you want to use from your computer onto Photobucket (hit the "Upload Images and Videos" button on Photobucket to find the photo/file on your computer and then upload it). Once this is done, and while at Photobucket.com, put your cursor on the photo you want to upload to BidOnMetals.com, and a dropdown on the photo occurs. Click on the "Direct Link" with your left mouse button (left click) to highlight this field. Then, after it is highlighted, hit your right mouse button (right click). Now left click on "Copy" with your left mouse button.
-now go to the "Item Details" section on BidOnMetals.com (where you enter the information/photos about the auction you are listing). On the taskbar above "Item Description" there is a green square with a tiny yellow circle in it. If you leave your cursor on it "Image" appears. Click this box. A larger box will appear on your screen. In the first line of this new larger box is "Source:" Left click your cursor in there, and then right click the cursor in there. After you right click a small box will appear. Scroll down to "Paste" and hit your left click button. Once you have inserted the link to photobucket in this section, left click on "Insert" on the lower bottom right of the larger box. Your picture is now inserted.
-NOTE: you can choose to align your photos on the page before you insert them. If you insert your 1st photo aligned to the left, you may wish to insert your 2nd photo aligned to the middle or to the right.
-once inserted, you can left click on the corner of your picture to re-size it in your auction listing.

This site will limit precious metals auctions to: 100 ounces or less of silver, less than 2 ounces of gold. The site administrator may, at his discretion allow larger gold auctions (up to 5 ounces). These limits are being instituted to deter fraudulent activity on the site and help protect our members. All other metals auctions will be limited to $2000 and less (for specific auction approval requests above this amount please contact the owner at: support@bidonmetals.com. Validation will be required).

If you see an auction or offer that you feel is suspicious please report it immediately to the site administrators at: support@bidonmetals.com
Any auction that violates these limits will be immediately suspended on the site.

Also, BidOnMetals.com has given sellers the ability to process transactions via credit cards. However all sellers that wish to accept payments with credit cards must have a positive feedback rating of 3 transactions before this feature will be allowed. Any auctions that are listed that violate this rule will be immediately suspended. BidOnMetals.com may, at its discretion, allow certain sellers to circumvent this rule allowing that the sellers are personally known and verified by the staff of BidOnMetals.com and/or the QB Group, LLC. However, BidOnMetals.com makes no guarantees as to the veracity any sellers on this site and the safety of your credit card and banking information, even after positive feedback has been assigned to sellers from other users. By allowing sellers with positive feedback to accept credit cards as payment, this is not an admission by BidOnMetals.com or the QB Group, LLC that the seller is reputable. Use your good judgment and discretion when purchasing on this site and providing payment information.

To help protect yourself from fraud, before bidding on and buying an item, use reasonable judgment to determine if the item appears "too good to be true." This may be an indicator of potential fraud. Also, check the seller's reputation and comments left by others when judging a seller or merchant on this site. Know the seller's refund and return policy, the required time-frame in which to make a return, and whether a full-refund or merchandise credit will be issued. Choose payment options, including Paypal that may provide you with an additional layer of knowledge regarding your seller. When you pay with Paypal, a reputation link for the recipient is provided (verified, unverified). A verified United States Paypal user has added and confirmed a bank account with Paypal. Please note that Paypal's Verification System does not constitute an endorsement of a member or guarantee of a member's business practices.
